Today’s world is unpredictable, uncertain, and complex. And while that applies to all aspects of our lives the focus of Executive Coaching is on the professional aspect. It considers issues such as confidence, flexibility, innovation, communication, building and motivating teams, problem solving, stress reduction, authenticity, and making decisions.

As your coach I will work in partnership with you to provide a safe, independent space that will allow you to see beyond the noise of the everyday and look at the links between your situation, your relationships, the circumstances at hand and how they relate to the wider context.

I will work with you to:

  • Improve your relationships and your ability to navigate conflicting agendas
  • Support you to grow as a leader
  • Improve your ability to see the wider context and solve today’s ‘wicked problems’, those complex problems that seem almost impossible to resolve
  • Manage change and understand both your own reactions and those of others’ in different contexts.

Our work with involve:

  • Increasing your self-awareness, looking at your strengths and also exploring what may be holding you back, your limiting assumptions
  • Helping you discover your authentic self, your values and your contribution to the wider picture
  • Enabling you to support all those you interact with to reach their full potential
  • Being creative in experimenting with positive actions, to develop your confidence and your ability to communicate powerfully and effectively
  • Enabling you to make decisions you know to be right and to take the actions you need to implement them
  • Stretching your knowledge and deepening your wisdom, your resilience and your confidence.

We can agree to meet for a small number of sessions to focus on a specific issue or you may feel you want to engage on a longer programme of sessions to support you develop your leadership skills.

I have experience of coaching leaders in the corporate, public and voluntary sectors particularly through times of transition both organisational and personal.

At the core of my work is the Thinking Environment®, a uniquely powerful approach to personal and organizational development.
Originated by Nancy Kline, its simple purpose is to unlock fresh independent thinking, knowing that “if our thinking is good, our decisions are good, our actions are good, and our outcomes are good.”
Increasingly used in business, coaching and education, the Thinking Environment® offers a practical framework and behaviours to dramatically improve the quality of our thinking as individuals, as teams and as organizations and I am incredibly proud to be a certified Time to Think coach.
